Creative Chaos
This is post number two for Creative Chaos going on over at ragamuffinsoul.com
We just came out of a missions series called Fluid. We decided at the beginning of Fluid that we wanted to wrap up the series by taking up an offering of 10,000 dollars in one day to build a well for the community that we partner with in Buloba, Uganda. To aid in keeping this task in front us we built a well in the middle of our worship space complete with moss and water. For the last Sunday we moved it to the stage, pulled the water out of the well and had the children (who had been collecting money for five weeks, they raised several hundred dollars) come and pour their money into the well. Cheesy, I know but it worked. Here are some pics.
By the way. We raised right at 40000 dollars that Sunday (our average attendance is somewhere between 800-900). God is bigger than we can ask or imagine. With 10K we build a well, with 15K we finish the building they began working on, with the other 15K we buy a soccer field, electricity and farming land and begin a process of microeconomics.
Here is the second video for the series we are currently in called Speak. I posted number 1 last week.

well, this was actually my very post I was going to do for Creative Chaos today, really funny this is the one you did. Glad one of us did this idea, I didn’t have time today. It was an amazing time that Sunday.
