I’m tagging on

This post is a tag on to a post written by The Asset called Why.
To put it lightly. I’m with him on this. I don’t want to echo what he said, but I’m frustrated with how I’ve often made my relationship with Christ a small portion of my pie graph of life, and how I’ve made the church part of this portion even smaller. How big is your portion? Or, maybe a good question is, how important is that portion?
Lets start a conversation. Start with reading Jason’s post and commenting there. Access it with one of the links above.

We are in sync these days… I just threw something out there along this line as well. I realized that there are parts in my life that were being left out, others that we getting to much attention, and others that hadn’t been touched in awhile. All of this has me stopping for a second to ask… how did I get here… why did I end up here… what next… Never an answer on my part only questions.

I try to devote all of my time to God, but somewhere along the way I lose sight of God when I get involved with the everyday small things in life. It’s like I go into auto pilot and I’m not even aware of everything around me. I’m in the Heath zone… This is when I get off track. We all know how everyday life keeps us busy and going all the time. I just have to slow down a little and remember to glorify God in everything I do whether thats at church or home or work or the grocery store or a blog post or an email or driving on the interstate or getting coffee in the morning from the shell station or you name it!

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. When the Lord your God brings you into the land he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give you—a land with large, flourishing cities you did not build, houses filled with all kinds of good things you did not provide, wells you did not dig, and vineyards and olive groves you did not plant—then when you eat and are satisfied, be careful that you do not forget the Lord. – Deut. 6:4 – 12.
