My week
It has been one of those crazy weeks. I mean, just really up in the air. We experienced the loss of a close family friend on Sunday and unfortunatel I was unable to attend the funeral.
Yesterday, our church lost a family member. Cindy Wall, who we had just baptized on Friday went to go hang with Jesus yesterday. You can read about that story here.
We’ve got some big stuff coming with auditions this Sunday, and bigger stuff coming as we plan for our Celebration Dinner and upcoming series.
I feel like I am in this place where I want to shout for joy and cry at the same time, and so I end up just sitting here in a daze wondering what to do. That’s been my week. Just still sitting here processing everything that is goin on.

Totally understand and I am right there with you… sometimes I feel like I am being split up into pieces with so many different directions and focus, probably because I need to surrender more to Jesus and less to my own understanding.

That’s the way it works. Our praise is often born out of pain.
So is this why God allows sorrows? So we can see what true rejoicing looks like? Is that necessary?
