I keep hearing this phrase, “the power of story.” I talk about story a lot on this blog. Or at least I think I talk about story a lot on this blog. One thing is certain, I am constantly thinking about story…and apparently the power of it.

Story was the power my Papa used to take me back to the early part of the 1900′s. I know I’ve shared about my Papa. I think my first post was about him. His stories took me to an amazing place that had my mind racing about a different time and a different place.

As a Believer, story has the power to communicate Gospel, another word that I have decided to stop putting “the” in front of. You know, like “the story” and “the Gospel.” What I’m saying is that I am sitting here thinking about story and Gospel (which means good news). I want to use the power of story to communicate gospel. And, that’s what I’m going to write about, over the next few days. I hope.
