power of story

Still thinking…still wrapping my thoughts around this.
I kept thinking I didn’t want to do another post until I had something profound to say, but I thought, that could be never.
So, I’m just letting you know that I’m still processing the power of story.
I’ve been reading some things and one idea that interested me is that story shapes identity. More on this later.

I have actually still be contemplating this myself and couldn’t conjure up anything intelligent to say yet… I see stories everywhere, especially when we do things like the “make a difference day” today. Lives intermingle that normally wouldn’t, much like during Jesus’ time. We started off the day from John 4:35 with Jesus at the well, getting involved in someone’s life story, and shaped her identity as she ran back to town to tell everyone what had just happened.
