Toddlers and Tiaras // I’m freaked out right now

Have you seen this Toddlers and Tiara’s show on TLC? I haven’t. But when we’re Kristen’s watching Jon and Kate Plus 8, they run commercials for this show. Watch this clip.
Every time I see this commercial, these little kids freak me out. It’s like watching the movie Chuckie played out in real life. I feel like normally I’m pretty descriptive when I expalin something if that’s what I’m aiming for. But right now, I can’t come up with anyting other than, I’m freaked out, and that commercial makes me feel weird. So, I thought I’d share the moment with you.

Not sure which disturbs me the most….they are singing a song that says potty, potty….the little girls whose bodies are being exploited or the fact they will grow up thinking that their appearance is what makes them special.

Supergross. It is not about competition…it is the sexualization of children and young girls. Pretty bad stuff. You were right to freak out.
