What a difference a day makes // pettines, pfffff

Yesterday just sucked as I allowed myself to be drawn into pettiness. But today was an amazingly productive day, not only for me personally, but I would venture to say the Kingdom as I was reaffirmed in remembering the Kingdom is about people and is not in things.

Today was not special because of me. It was amazing because today I said, “You God, not me. Let’s advance the kingdom and not me.” That feeling of surrender felt solid.

I was far from perfect today, but I was more focused on building the body up rather than stirring it up. Much of that is also due to the fact that I am surrounded by some great leaders at Cornerstone who are passionate about the same thing. And that was encouraging to hear so many times today that we want to see people that don’t know the love of Christ enter into relationship with Him.

I’m amped!
