the ride // part the second
So I took an early leave today because most of the creative work I need to do can be done at home (and yes, I am working). And someone had to take the meet out of the freezer. And, because I needed to take it slow on the way home. So here are the observations from round two:
1) I still have a long way to go.
2) My legs are really white and the reflections caused several cars to swerve.
3) I ran over a dinosaur.
4) I only made it half way up the Moore’s Mill Hill before it beat me and I had to walk the rest of the way up.
5) When you get off and walk the second half, someone like @valeriecarson may see you…and you may be very dizzy.
6) Don’t kill yourself trying to do Moores Mill Hill on day 1. You’ll get there and you can have your pride back when you do.
7) Look just in front of you, not all the way up the hill…that’s a long way.
…. still hurts

keep trucking. I remember when thatch killed me. now I can talk on the phone and ride up no problems. the hardest part was the one handed riding on the road bike.
