family // this week

On the last blog post I received a comment that said, “What does living missionally even mean?” (or something like that). I immediately started thinking. Perhaps this concept is just foreign to a lot of people and therefore the reason why more people aren’t living this way. So, we’ll address this in the next blog post or the next few.

For now, I’m on vaca. Once a year, Kristen and I come to Telluride, CO to hang out with my sister, brother-in-law and niece for a week. Tree is a pastor out here and Robbin is a school teacher. Anna is a baby so she gets to do and be whatever she wants as she is amazingly cute. This week is always one for restoration and processing for me.

Right before we left on Tuesday, I was able to spend a couple of hours with my brother and his family as well. We counted up and I think me seeing both of them in a 24 hour time period has happened only five times in the last five years. So, its really good to be able to slow down for a week, see family, recalibrate and enjoy the beauty of creation. More on missional living and some things I’m learning the rest of this week. Unless I get caught up in the mountains or something.
