humility // confidence

something to meditate on today. my life should be characterized by these two words which are in not antithetical.
humility in knowing who I am, where I was and how I should now serve.
confidence in knowing whose I am and what he has called me for and that he continues the work in me.
(p.s. I hate cliche’s. So, while this may sound very cliche, it was actually working on me this morning.)

Just another thought: Humility is not only knowing who you are, but I would say is even more, knowing who He is. My inability doesn’t breed humility so much as His infinite ability. Just something I thought about when I was reading. Love you guys!
